This allows it to be fastened securely and quickly with just one hand.
The TAVO is a great choice for parents looking to save money. However, it’s not the best 2 in 1 prams option if you’re looking for a bassinet or reversible seat. It can only face only one way, and it doesn’t have the capacity to allow for a car seat, or other accessories such as the bassinet stand and cup holder, rain cover or child snack tray. If you’re looking to add more space then the MIXX Next is a better choice since it can accommodate all of these things.
The TAVO has a built-in suspension system called Free-flex. It lets you travel anywhere, and even take your child from the car to the curb. It’s considered to be a “modular stroller” or “convertible stroller”, and it has more than 20 different configurations to use with various seat units, cots, and infant car seats (car seat adapters are sold separately).
We love that the Cybex Gazelle is light and easy to move around making it perfect for parents who love to go out and explore. It has a large storage basket and many attachments so parents can carry groceries or light shopping. It’s a bit more expensive than some other 2 in 1 prams but it’s well worth the investment as the quality and functionality of this model is top-notch.
This stroller features a harness that can be pulled in one pull, making secure your child’s seat a breeze. It comes with the sun canopy, which has XXL removable panels and peek-a-boo windows. It also comes with a handy tray for parents to store snacks, drinks and phones. The telescopic handlebar adjusts to accommodate the height of parents and the brake is easily accessible and safe for children to operate.
Our mum tester Sophie from London used this stroller with her two girls aged 5 and 10 months. She found it easy to maneuver and very smooth on cobbled streets, even when the ground was uneven. She was delighted that the padded seat and footrests were ergonomically designed for comfort and the large shopping basket was practical. She also loved that the fabric on the handlebars and hood were machine washable. This is essential for busy parents.
4. Joovy Twin Roo+
The Twin Roo+ is a minimalist frame stroller that has car seat compatibility. It also has a large storage container. It’s among the most lightweight twin strollers available. It weighs only 24 pounds. without attachments for infant car seats. It’s very light for a double stroller. It is a bit heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista V2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide 2 in 1 pram and pushchair Double.
The Roo+ comes with a quick-start guide and is simple to use. It snaps together quickly and can be road-ready in just 10 minutes. It doesn’t have a built-in canopy therefore your children will have to wear their own sunshades if you require extra protection from the elements.
In our tests, we noticed that the Roo+ was a dual stroller that handled well. It is able to navigate through most terrains, but it has issues with grassy areas as well as over gravel. It can be difficult to navigate over and up 1-inch curbs. We don’t recommend taking this stroller off-road or on stairs, but it does provide excellent suspension to reduce bumps for passengers.
While the Roo+ has a large under-seat storage bin but it’s not easy to access without removing the infant car seats. This is a problem that twin frame strollers commonly face however Joovy provides an additional underseat baby carrier to help solve this issue.
Unlike top-scoring strollers, the Roo+ doesn’t have a self-standing fold or cup holders. It’s a small price to pay for the car storage and seat compatibility, however we’d rather have an option with more flexibility. The stroller’s versatility when it comes to seating arrangement is a major benefit. Parents can mount their infant car seats in either opposite directions or the same direction, based on their requirements.
5. Delta Children LX Side by Side
The Delta Children LX Side by Side received a top score for both the weight and fold size which makes it the top value in our double umbrella stroller review. It also scores well for its maneuverability, which is a key feature for parents who are seeking a travel stroller that can be tucked away in small spaces. The Delta is a basic product with a few features that other strollers in our testing provide, such as a deep recline or large storage basket. But it is an excellent choice for families on a tight budget and those who require an additional stroller for short-term use, like a day at the zoo.
The LX Side-by-Side is an extremely light and compact stroller. It is simple to turn and push. Its relatively short frame with swivel front wheels, swivel rear wheels and padding for the shoulder pads ensure a smooth ride for your kids.
